PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hair cosmetic that can repair or controls the structural change of the hair inside caused by a chemical treatment, dryer drying or daily hair care and give good flexibility and a supple touch to the hair during from wetting to even after drying. SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic comprises (A) a tertiary amine represented by formula (1) (R<SP>1</SP>is a 6-24C alkyl group or alkenyl group; R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>are each a 1-6C alkyl group or a group represented by formula -(AO)<SB>m</SB>H (A is a 2-4C alkylene group; m is a number of 1-6); n is a number of 1-5) or its salt, (B) a branched fatty acid represented by formula (2) (R<SP>5</SP>is a methyl group or an ethyl group; p is 3-36) or its salt and water.
