PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial antiseptic composition excellent in long-term stability. SOLUTION: The industrial antiseptic composition comprises 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one and 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one, and the pH of the composition is in the range of 7-11 and the composition comprises at least one compound selected from the group consisting of hydrogen peroxide, a metal salt of hydrogen peroxide, a peroxoacid, and a metal salt of the peroxoacid.
