PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer apparatus capable of detecting attachment/detachment state of a platen and reducing manufacturing cost by a simple structure. SOLUTION: A platen 10 having a platen roller 15 for printing paper conveyance and a conductive spindle 20 which supports the platen roller 15 and frame members 50 and 60 which attachably/detachably holds the platen 10 are provided. The frame members 50 and 60 are electrically mutually connected by the spindle 20 of the platen 10. Thus, a switch for detecting the attachment/detachment of the platen 10 is formed by the frame members 50 and 60 and the spindle 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
