PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin sheet for vacuum molding which prevents intrusion of the expanded opening into the inside of the cut line of the sheet body and can control sufficiently variation of the thickness in parts of the sheet undergoing maximum deformation. SOLUTION: The resin sheet 1 for vacuum molding includes a sheet body 2 which is to be pressed and/or sucked according to the geometry of the mold and cut to a specified shape and an opening 3 which is arranged in the sheet body 2 and is to be expanded on suction. The opening 3 is arranged outside the cut line S of the sheet body 2 in such a way as not to lie along the line starting from the position A undergoing maximum deformation during molding and extending in the direction X most vulnerable to the maximum tension and also as to lie in the vicinity of the line in the direction.
