<p>[PROBLEMS] A wheel-use bearing device increased in service life of a bearing by enhancing the sealing feature and durability of a seal. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A wheel-use bearing device which can ensure a specified pulling resistance and a desired sealing performance, and is increased in service life of a bearing by enhancing the sealing feature and durability of a seal (11), and in which a hub wheel (4) having a wheel-mounting flange (6) at one end thereof and formed with an inside rolling surface (4a) directly on the outer periphery thereof is provided, the seal (11) on the outer side increasingly inclines radially outwardly toward the tip end thereof and is integrally formed with a side lip (18a) in slide contact with the base (6c) on the inner side of a wheel-mounting flange (6) via a specified interference, and the initial maximum diameter of this side lip (18a) is formed to be smaller than the maximum diameter of the seal(11) with the difference (e) in diameter between them being set at at least 1 mm on one side to allow the seal (11) to be constantly press fitted by a press fitting jig without interference with the side lip (18a).</p> |
