A method for preparing a hairdye used in two ways for permanent wave is provided to perform the permanent wave and dye a hair at the same time without damaging hair, show excellent dyeing durability without discoloration and increase the reliability without changing in quality. A method for preparing a hairdye used in two ways for permanent wave comprises the steps of: (a) after putting a dye, an antioxidant, an emulsifier and purified water in a pressure tank and heating it to a temperature of 85 deg.C with gradual heating to dissolve completely, cooling it down to a temperature of 35 deg.C; (b) adding a permanent wave forming agent to the product obtained from the step(a) with agitation to dissolve it; (c) adding a stabilizer to the product obtained from the step(b) with agitation; (d) adding a pH adjusting agent to the product obtained from the step(c) to prepare a first solvent; and (e) adding a reductant and supplemental ingredients to purified water with mixing and dissolving to prepare a second solvent, wherein the first solvent comprises 0.1-13.0 wt.% of the dye, 0.05-0.5 wt.% of thioglycolic acid as the antioxidant, 0.1-3.0 wt.% of polyoxyethylene nonyl phenyl ether as the emulsifier, 1.1-12.0 wt.% of the permanent wave forming agent, 0.1-1.0 wt.% of polyquaternium-10, 0.1-7.0 wt.% of a pH adjusting agent, and the remaining amount of purified water, and the second solvent comprises 10-20.0 wt.% of hydrogen peroxide, 0.5-5.0 wt.% of a sodium lauryl sulfate solution, 0.5-5.0 wt.% of glycerin, 0.5-1.0 wt.% of EDTA and the remaining amount of purified water.
