<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently discharge water contents present on an anode side, in a fuel cell system in which an anode off gas is circulated and re-supplied to a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: A variable valve 49 is provided on the lower stream side of a circulation pump 40 for circulating the anode off-gas in a fuel cell 10. The open degree of the variable valve 49 is decreased to increase workload of the circulation pump 40, so that the circulation pump 40 itself is heated. Thus, the anode off-gas that passes the circulation pump is raised in temperature. The water content present in an anode of the fuel cell 10 and the piping connected to the anode is discharged efficiently in a short period of time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
