<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beverage extraction device 11 capable of reducing an extraction time period per once, increasing the number of extraction times per unit time, and extracting beverage without losing scent and taste. <P>SOLUTION: In a first beverage extraction mode, material of a first material supply quantity is supplied from a material supply means 12, and the beverage is extracted in a beverage extraction means 14 through a first extraction process. In a second beverage extraction mode, material of a second material supply quantity greater than the first material supply quantity is supplied from the material supply means 12, and the beverage is extracted in the beverage extraction means 14 through a second extraction process capable of extracting the beverage in a shorter time period than the first extraction process. In a time zone of a low beverage extraction frequency, the use quantity of the material is suppressed using the first beverage extraction mode, so as to reduce the beverage cost. In a time zone of a high beverage extraction frequency, using the second beverage extraction mode, the extraction time per once is shortened, and the number of extraction times per unit time is increased, so as to extract the beverage without losing scent and taste by increasing the material use quantity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
