<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular infrared irradiation lamp capable of preventing a glare without increasing the total length of a lamp body. <P>SOLUTION: This vehicular infrared irradiation lamp 100 is provided with a reflector 33 having a first focal point f1 and a second focal point f2 between a convex lens 37 arranged on an optical axis Ax, a light source valve 31 arranged in the first focal point f1 to make the longitudinal direction of a filament 33a substantially perpendicular to an optical axis Ax direction, a filter drive unit 55 provided between the convex lens 37 and the light source valve 31 to drive vertically a movable shaft 53, and a bracket 57 for holding an infrared transmission filter 59 at its tip, provided adjacently with the movable shaft 53 at a base end, and having a distance from a rotary shaft to the base end shorter than a distance from the rotary shaft to the tip. The infrared transmission filter 59 is displaceable between a transmission position of shielding reflected light from the reflector 33 and a retreat position of not shielding the reflected light between the light source valve 31 and the second focal point f2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
