PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component collating method, a component information managing method, a component mounting method, a component collating apparatus, and a component mounting apparatus, which cope with various working procedures and flexibly modify the working procedure upon component collation.

SOLUTION: A component collating apparatus 10 collates a mounting component supplied into a component supply by a component mounting device 20, and arranged in the component supply to know whether the component is acceptable. The apparatus comprises; a working flow data record 11 for recording working flow data indicative of an order of a plurality of working items included in the component collating work in a working flow data memory 12; and a collation processor 14 for sequentially selecting the plurality of working items according to the order shown by the work flow data and executing processing of the selected working item.
