PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of controlling a sound volume automatically and properly for users. SOLUTION: Environmental sounds (volume of surrounding sound) are acquired through a microphone, and a conditioning volume of a sound volume suitable for an environment is calculated referring to an operating record database. An actual sound volume is adjusted by the calculated conditioning volume of sound. Genres as input items are mentioned later. The decided sound volume is expressed as a function of, for instance, a reference sound volume as an object of adjustment, a sound volume ratio of environmental sound (factor by environmental sound), a genre comparison value (factor by genre), and a feeling comparison value (factor by feeling).
