PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital telephone system capable of controlling equipment remotely with simple operation by using a safe method. SOLUTION: When an equipment control command preregistered at a programmable key is transmitted to an equipment control unit 200 from an IP telephone 100; the equipment control unit 200 checks whether the IP telephone 100 has been preregistered in a permission list, and checks the presence or absence of competition with an equipment control command from other IP telephones.
