PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of reflecting a change in a state of a pattern noise having a fixed vertical streak on a corrected value in a short time and always executing highly accurate correction of a fixed pattern noise, even if the status changes in pattern noise having a fixed vertical streak. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus on a two-dimensional image sensor causes a recursive filter to suppress a random noise on an image signal, based on a fixed value to obtain a corrected value of the pattern noise having a fixed vertical streak. In the imaging apparatus, the coefficient k of the recursive filter is set small when the state of the pattern noise having the fixed vertical streak change, thereby reflecting its change to the corrected value in a short time.
