PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a nose bunch forming efficiency and a winding package forming efficiency. SOLUTION: This winding device comprises a traverse device 1 for traversing a yarn Y fed from a feed side within a predetermined width TA. The winding device forms a winding package 2 by winding the yarn Y back on a winding bobbin 20 while traversing. After the winding package 2 is formed, to form a nose bunch B, the yarn Y is guided to a predetermined position TB beyond the predetermined width TA by the traverse device 1, and wound around the winding bobbin 20 at one end.
