PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet ejection apparatus which displays a stable ejecting property even when the electrical property (for example, capacitance) of a piezoelectric element varies due to a long-time driving and realizes a high-definition writing, the driving method and the drive program. SOLUTION: The droplet ejection apparatus is composed of a temperature measurement means (detection part) 50, a control means (unit) 60 and a droplet ejection head 1 (piezoelectric element 8). The control means (unit) 60 is composed so as to apply a non-driving waveform (W<SB>2</SB>) not for discharging the droplet to a not-driving piezoelectric element 8B which is not actuated among the piezoelectric element 8 when the environmental temperature (T) measured by the temperature detection part 50 is 30°C or higher.
