PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer capable of well achieving to suppress cockling and to suppress staining of a spur. SOLUTION: To a regular paper in which the cockling is relatively easily generated, as shown with a solid line in (B), the spur 76 on the downstream side in the conveying direction of a medium to be recorded is moved in the upper retreating position, and the spur 75 on the upstream side is moved to a specified position which can come into contact with the medium to be recorded. Therefore, the cockling of the regular paper can be suppressed by pressing by the spur 75 near the opposing position to a recording head 73. On the contrary, to a glossy paper in which the cockling is relatively hardly generated and staining of the spur is easily generated, as shown with the solid line in (A), the spur 75 on the upstream side is moved to the upper retreated position, and the spur 76 on the downstream side is moved to the specified position which can come into contact with the medium to be recorded. Therefore, the staining of the glossy paper caused by the spur can be suppressed by pressing by the spur 76 at a position separated from the opposing position to the recording head 73.
