PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase controller for DC/DC converter which can prevent the generation of the vibrating sound of a transformer by suppressing the needless discontinuous portion of the current flowing to the primary winding and the secondary winding of the transformer, thereby eliminating the generation of magnetic saturation. SOLUTION: This phase controller is applied to a step-up DC/DC converter 10. The DC/DC converter has the transformer T1 where the primary winding L1 and the secondary winding L2 are connected in reversely-wound connection, a switch element SW1 which controls the energization of the primary winding, and a switch element SW2 which controls the energization of the secondary winding. The phase controller has current detectors 31 and 32, a judger 43 which judges the quantity of current ripple at switching ON of the switch element, and a phase regulator 44 which regulates the phase concerned with the ON time of the switch element so that the quantity of current ripple may be zero, based on the quantity of current ripple judged in this judger.
