PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device capable of optimizing an assembly process of each component to a vehicle body side while guaranteeing the neutral position of a spiral cable after the assembly to the vehicle body side. SOLUTION: The vehicular steering device comprises a steering angle ratio variable actuator which is provided between upper and lower steering shafts to add/subtract the assist steering angle to/from the steering angle of a steering wheel, a shaft cover fixed to a vehicle body side to store the steering angle variable actuator, and a spiral cable which is wound around the steering shaft to constitute a current path with one end fixed to the shaft cover side and the other end fixed to the steering angle ratio variable actuator. A cable position maintaining means is provided, which regulates the rotation of one steering shaft with the spiral cable connected thereto out of the upper and lower steering shafts with respect to the shaft cover.
