A diesel particulate filter for an internal combustion engine is provided to activate molecules of fuel and increase the volume of fuel by applying half-wave pulsating voltage to a fuel hose during supply of atomized fuel into a cylinder. A diesel particulate filter for an internal combustion engine includes an induction unit(22), a clamping unit(23), and a controller. The induction unit is arranged to wrap an outer surface of a fuel hose(21), and activates molecules of fuel passed through the fuel hose when half-wave pulsating voltage is applied. The clamping unit tightens the induction unit onto the outer surface of the fuel hose. The controller includes a power unit and a main unit, and applies half-wave pulsating voltage to the induction unit.
