<p>A system and a method for implementing a multi-radio wireless network are provided to use a base station-type radio and an endpoint-type radio, thereby reducing a cost for a multi-radio relay station and receiving the other radio while receiving a radio. A system for implementing a multi-radio wireless network(200) comprises plural endpoints and a base station(210). The plural endpoints are connected to a relay station(230,240,250) by wireless. The base station is connected to the relay station by wireless. The relay station comprises a first radio(236a), a second radio(236b), and a processor(232). The first radio is operable to use a first channel so as to communicate with the base station. The second radio is operable to use a second channel so as to communicate with the plural endpoints. The processor is connected to the first radio and the second radio and is operable to relay data between the base station and the plural endpoints.</p> |
