<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a near-field optical disk device which uses only a single wavelength, namely, uses a laser beam source for gap servo that also serves as a laser beam source for reading and writing, with the optical disk device being capable of keeping gap length always constant, even if an expander for adjusting focus is moved. <P>SOLUTION: The near-field optical disk device is provided with a focus adjusting part 35, adjusting the focus of near-field light with which an optical disk 31 of an optical head 49 is irradiated, in a state where the gap servo is performed by a gap servo part 40; and a gap servo correcting part 42, correcting gap servo by means of the gap servo part 40 for adjusting the focus for the optical disk 31 of near-field light by the focus adjusting part 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
