<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium which can draw images visible from the label side without turning it over and without restricting the data recording areas. <P>SOLUTION: This optical information recording medium 20 has a recording layer 12 and a first translucent reflection layer 13 on either one surface of a first transparent base plate 11 and can record information by irradiating it with a laser beam from the other side of the base plate. It has a second transparent base plate 14 stuck to the side having the recording layer and the first translucent reflection layer 15 of the first transparent base plate, a second translucent reflection layer 15 formed on the second transparent base plate, a layer 17 formed on the second translucent reflection layer to emit coloring matters by absorbing laser beams, and a layer 18 formed on it with many gaps to absorb emitted coloring matters.
