PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the saving of energy as environmental measures; to suppress an influence on a heat-island phenomenon through the generation of heat of condensation associated with dehumidification, and the exhaust of sensible heat, while enhancing the functions of dehumidification/heat-shielding and humidity conditioning in summer; and to enhance an air heating effect in winter. SOLUTION: A moisture-absorbing/desorbing material is used as a structural material/heat-insulating layer and an interior finish material, which constitute the house. A comfortable habitable space is realized by utilizing midnight power and natural energy such as geothermy/radiation cooling/solar heat for water content control/humidity regulation/energy transfer, through the control (promotion/suppression) of cooperation between the change of phase of H<SB>2</SB>O and humidity absorption/desorption brought about by the complementary cooperation and combination/superposition of the different moisture-absorbing/desorbing materials.
