PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensor for a cooker smoothly lifted to abut against the bottom face of a cooking container and prevented from being left as it is inclined when the cooking container is not placed. SOLUTION: A baffle part 12 provided at the upper part of a post 10 is provided with a guide part 15 slidably abutting on a slide groove 35 of a thermosensitive part 30, and a tapered part 16 extended in an oblique direction to the axial direction of the post 10 so as to be closer to the center of the post 10 as it goes downward. Since the portion, abutting on the slide groove 35, of the guide part 15 is formed curved in convex shape toward the outside, frictional force between the guide part 15 and the slide groove 35 is small. When the thermosensitive part 30 moves upward, each tapered part 16 inclining with respect to the post 10 abuts on each locking part 36 at the same height, and the thermosensitive part 30 rests still in a state of extending straight in a vertical direction.
