PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PDP having good display characteristics without cross-talks or audible noises by discharging by eliminating a gap between a front substrate and a back substrate, without reducing a production efficiency. SOLUTION: The plasma display panel is provided with a front substrate formed with a display electrode on a front glass substrate and a front dielectric layer covering the display electrode, and a back substrate formed with a data electrode on a back glass substrate and a back dielectric layer covering the data electrode, arranged in opposition, and an outer peripheral part with the front substrate and the back substrate is sealed by a sealing member 16. The sealing member 16 includes a first region C arranged on the front dielectric layer or the back dielectric layer, and a second region D with the sealing member 16 formed on the front glass substrate or the back glass substrate.
