PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve discharge performance of a separated liquid, and to restrain its backflow. SOLUTION: This separator 1 is a gas-liquid separator having a cylindrical separator body 2, an introducing part (an introducing pipe 3) introducing a gas-liquid mixture in the tangent direction inside the separator body, a liquid discharge part (an oil discharge pipe 4) discharging the separated liquid and a gas exhaust part (a gas exhaust pipe 5) exhausting separated gas, and has a storage part (a housing 7) storing the liquid discharged from the liquid discharge part, a storage liquid discharge part (a storage liquid discharge pipe 9) arranged in the storage part and discharging the stored liquid and a baffle part 13 arranged in the storage part and restraining the backflow of the liquid stored in the storage part to the liquid discharge part.
