PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent displacement and float of a decorative material in construction, and to prevent disadvantage such as peeling of the decorative material even after construction. SOLUTION: This invention provides a construction structure of a decorative material in which a pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape is stuck to at least the periphery of the back of the decorative material, an adhesive is applied to the back of the decorative material, and the decorative material is bonded and fixed to the non-decorative surface of the wall body of the dwelling house. Further the invention provides a construction method for the decorative material in which previously a pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape is stuck to at least the periphery of the back of the decorative material, and further an adhesive is applied to the back of the decorative material and stuck to a surface to be decorated of a wall body.
