PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of collecting the information on the earthquake emergency operation of elevators capable of accurately grasping the information on the earthquake emergency operation of elevators without surpassing the receiving capacity of a monitoring center device. SOLUTION: A major receiver which receives from terminal devices 6a to 6n when earthquake sensors are detected to operate is a collecting center device 2. A monitoring center device 1 which receives a notice stops collecting information in the collecting center device 2, and requests for moving to provision for receiving the notice of the detection of the operation of the earthquake sensor. The collecting center device 2 which receives the notice of the detection of the operation of the earthquake sensor transfers the notice to the monitoring center device 1. The collecting center device 2 which receives the notice of the detection of the operation of the earthquake sensor before the request of the monitoring center device 1 stops collecting the information, moves to the provision for receiving the information on the detection of the operation of the earthquake sensor, and transfers the received notice on the detection of the operation of the earthquake sensor to the monitoring center device 1.
