<p>An apparatus and a method for assembling a camera module are provided to reduce the number of parts, and lower manufacturing cost by adjusting the focus between a lens and an image sensor through 3-axis location adjustment using a jig when a PCB(Printed Circuit Board), on which the image sensor is mounted, is provisionally attached to the lower part of a barrel-combined housing installed in the jig. An apparatus for assembling a camera module comprises a support frame(201), an x-y stage(210), a z stage(220), a gonio stage(230), a substrate holder(240), and a jig assembly(250). The support frame(201) is formed in the shape of a square frame. A jig(202) is horizontally connected to the upper end of the support frame(201). The x-y stage(210), installed in the support frame(201), has adjustment knobs(211,212). The z stage(220), installed in the support frame(201), has an adjustment knob(221). The gonio stage(230), installed in the support frame(201), has an adjustment knobs(231). The substrate holder(240) is extended and formed from the gonio stage(230). A PCB is fixed to an end of the substrate holder(240). The jig assembly(250) is settled at an aperture portion formed at the jig(202). At the central part of the jig assembly(250), a barrel-combined housing is installed.</p> |
