A method and a system for detecting error state of an automatic fire extinguishing system are provided to transmit a signal notifying that power is intercepted in the automatic fire extinguishing system by installing a sensor for sensing the power. A system for detecting error state of an automatic fire extinguishing system includes power sensing sensors(110) and a remote management system(120). The power sensing sensor is installed between a power system for supplying power to an automatic fire extinguishing system and the automatic fire extinguishing system and confirms whether the power is applied to the automatic fire extinguishing system. The remote management system displays the power applying state of the automatic fire extinguishing system on a screen by receiving power applying signal or non-power applying signal from power-sensing sensors.
