<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and stably adjust chromaticity, and also, to secure a recording medium conveying performance in a normal operation period. <P>SOLUTION: When a chromaticity detector is retreated from a recording member conveying path during the time except a chromaticity detecting operation period, the surface of a recording paper conveying member is nearly aligned with the upper surface of the chromaticity detector, alternatively, a recording paper conveying/lifting-up member is disposed on the upstream part of a recessed cavity on the recording member conveying path, the cavity being generated when the chromaticity detector is retreated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
