<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect an occupant in a cabin by surely imparting tension to a curtain 20 completing its deployment, by surely mounting a curtain air bag device imparting tension to the curtain 20 after deployment completion via a string member 39 engaged to a supporting member 36 on a window of a vehicle within a prescribed fitting time, while preventing the tangling of the string member 39 around the supporting member 36. <P>SOLUTION: The supporting member 36 is constituted of an annular member having an opening at the radial direction inside in advance. The string member 39 is inserted into the opening of the supporting member 36. One end of the string member 39 is connected to a prescribed part on the side of the second side of the curtain 20, and the other end is connected to the prescribed part on the side of the second side of the curtain 20 to form a loop-shaped loop part 75. A loop forming process for holding the supporting member 36 by the loop part 75 is performed at a place separate from a vehicle fitting line for fitting the curtain air bag device to the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
