<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and inexpensive light source using an organic EL element; and an image formation device. <P>SOLUTION: This light source sheet 31 is composed by comprising: a light trapping layer 34 trapping light in the layer by a refractive index difference; an organic EL element 33 formed by an organic thin-film layer 33b sandwiched between a negative electrode 33a and a positive electrode 33c each formed of a transparent electrode; and a metal reflective film 36 reflecting light having penetrated the transparent electrodes 33a and 33c. In order to prevent light from leaking from ends of the organic thin-film layer 33b, metal reflective films 35 are formed at the respective ends. The light trapping layer 34 is stacked on the electrode side of the negative electrode 33a (or the positive electrode 33c) constituting the organic EL element 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
