<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line head which can reduce generation of banding by a simple configuration without a rise of prices caused, and to provide an image forming apparatus and an image formation method whereby accurate skew correction is enabled. <P>SOLUTION: In the line head, three or more arrays of light emitting element arrays are arranged in a photoreceptor rotational direction. Light emitting elements of adjacent arrays are arranged to be positionally shifted by an amount of one element in a main scanning direction. Latent images of one array are formed on the photoreceptor by making the light emitting elements of each array emit light one by one via a time interval. The line head includes a means which sets an emission timing of a plurality of the arrays of light emitting element arrays on the basis of skew correction data, and a driving means which makes the light emitting element arrays emit light sequentially from the forefront array of the photoreceptor rotational direction by the set emission timing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
