PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To repair defects such as voids that are likely to be generated in bulk brazing. SOLUTION: An airfoil 22 of a stator vane 20 is fixed by blazing on an outer diameter shroud 24. Initially, the airfoil 22 is inserted through a hole of the shroud 24, with bulk blazing 32 performed over the entire circumference. A weld zone is inspected by X ray equipment or the like with the location of a defect 50 recorded. This defect 50 is laser brazed by irradiation of a beam 62 from a laser head 60 and by an additional material 64. Each filler metal is essentially composed of one and the same alloy.
