PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a destination simply by a car navigation device. SOLUTION: The destination is imaged by a GPS-loaded digital camera 10. An image file 40 to which imaging position data 50 showing an imaging position is added is recorded on a memory card 38 set on the digital camera 10. The memory card 38 is set on the car navigation device 60. An imaging position extraction part 86 extracts the imaging position data 50 from the image file 40 corresponding to the destination. A route retrieval part 80 retrieves a route from the present place to the destination based on road map data stored in a map data storage part 74, present position data acquired by a present position data calculation part 70 and a GPS antenna 72, and the imaging position data 50 showing a destination position.
