PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher capable of effectively bleaching tableware and a chopping board by the synergistic effect of an ultraviolet light and ozone without using bleach. SOLUTION: This dishwasher having a rotary nozzle 51 spraying wash water supplied to a washing tub 2 to the tableware A and the chopping board B is provided with an ultraviolet lamp 81 illuminating the ultraviolet light to the tableware A and the chopping board B stored in the washing tub 2, an ozone generator 64 supplying ozone to the interior of the washing tub 2, an ozone supply means consisting of an air pump 65 and an air stone 67, and a control part 95 collaterally actuating the ultraviolet lamp 81 and the ozone supply means.
