PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball conveying unit and a ball conveying device which enable the favorable conveyance of game media. SOLUTION: The game media conveying unit 520 includes a first link part 532 into which Pachinko balls P are carried, a second link part 533 out of which the Pachinko balls P are carried, a conveying path part 534 which has a curved part 534A for guiding the pachinko balls P following the first and second link parts 532 and 533, a conveying drum member 550 which conveys the Pachinko balls P along the curved part 534A, a drive part 560 for driving the conveying drum member 550, a mobile plate 535 which is provided near the side of the first link part 532 of the conveying path part 534 and turns downward as the Pachinko balls P exceeding a prescribed amount are carried in, a movement detection switch C2 for detecting the turning of the mobile plate 535 and a controller which controls to stop the drive of a motor 561 of the drive part 560 when the amount of the Pachinko balls P exceeds a prescribed value based on a detection signal from the movement detection switch C2.
