PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting interactions in an animal cell by using a cross-linking method. SOLUTION: This method for detecting the interactions between proteins is characterized by comprising a first process of expressing a TyrRS mutant originated from a prokaryote, specific to a non-natural type amino acid and capable of serving as a cross-linking agent, a suppressor tRNA originated from the prokaryote, capable of binding with the non-natural type amino acid in the presence of the TyrRS mutant and a desired protein gene having a nonsense mutation at a desired site, in the animal cell for incorporating the non-natural type amino acid at the site of the nonsense mutation of the protein to express the non-natural type amino acid-integrated protein, a second process of irradiating a specific wave length light to the animal cell, and a third process of detecting the presence or absence of the interaction between the proteins.
