PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing an ionomer resin foam by which suitable kneading is achieved when kneading raw materials such as a foaming agent with an ionomer resin as a substrate, respectively and obtaining the foam. SOLUTION: The method for production comprises kneading the ionomer resin with the foaming agent and affording the foam. In the method for production, an acrylic polymer lubricant, the foaming agent and other additives are added to the ionomer resin to subsequently provide a kneaded material using kneading equipment.
