PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a glue applying region from being displaced from its appropriate position even if a transfer speed V is changed as a product manufacturing speed or the like is changed in a continuous glue applying apparatus including a transfer device for transferring a package box in a transfer direction at a transfer speed V, a nozzle for injecting glue a direction perpendicular to the transfer direction toward a glue applying region at the surface of the package box and a glue position setting means for setting a forming position in the glue applying region at the surface of the package box. SOLUTION: There is provided a delay time calculating means for calculating a delay time "δ/V1" elapsed until adhesion glue injected from a nozzle 22 reaches to a glue applying region 13 in response to an opposing distanceδin a vertical direction between the glue applying region 13 and the nozzle 22, and then the adhesion glue is injected at a time before by the delay time "δ/V1" prior to the time when the glue applying region 13 opposes against the nozzle 22.
