<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium that is provided with a recording layer, capable of performing high density recording and reproduction of information and having superior recording quality, even if it is irradiated with a laser light having wavelength of 450 nm or shorter. <P>SOLUTION: A first write-once type recording layer 14, capable of recording information by irradiation with the laser light having wavelength of 450 nm or shorter is provided on a first substrate 12 of a first optical information recording medium 10A. A dyestuff, indicating a first weight reduction at 250°C or lower and a second weight reduction at 260°C or higher and having 60% weight reduction ratio or smaller at the time of reaching 300°C by thermogravimetric analysis, is contained in the first write-once type recording layer 14.
