<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a color shift in the portion where the thickness of an intermediate transfer belt is different from the stipulated value in a color image forming device of the tandem system. <P>SOLUTION: As a pretreatment of image forming, a toner mark pattern is drawn on an intermediate transfer belt (Step S11). The toner mark pattern is read by a sensor, and the amount of toner adhesion is measured (Step S12). When the deviation of the measured value of the amount of toner adhesion from the set value of the toner is large (Yes in Step S13), it is determined that there is a portion where the deviation of the thickness of the intermediate transfer belt from the stipulated value is large (Step S16), and image formation is done avoiding the portion (Step S17). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
