<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of improving transmission quality in differential transmission. <P>SOLUTION: This connector is provided with a contact provided with a contact part connected to a mating connector and a terminal connected to a connection object, and a housing for holding the contact. The contact comprises a plurality of signal contacts and a plurality of ground contacts. The two signal contact constitute a pair. The paired signal contacts are aligned on the same column to sandwich the ground contacts therebetween at a contact part side. The signal contacts and the ground contacts are aligned separately on parallel columns at a terminal side, and the paired signal contacts 14b, 14b are opposed between the adjacent ground contacts 15b, 15b, to form a substantially trapezoidal arrangement while being cooperated each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
