<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine cover attachment/detachment device for an outboard motor capable of easily performing releasing operation of the engine cover and enhancing workability. <P>SOLUTION: An engine unit is covered by the engine cover divided to upper and lower sides by an upper cover 4 and a lower cover 5, and the closed state of the upper cover 4 and the lower cover is maintained by fixing devices 6, 7, 8 provided on a plurality of positions in the engine cover. At least one actuator 9 is arranged on the lower cover 2, at least one operation switch 10 operable from the outside for driving the actuator 9 is arranged in the engine cover 2, and the actuator 9 and the fixing devices 6, 7, 8 are connected to each other through wires 24, 25, 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
