<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control 1 that enables a stable operation of connecting a communication line 4 to a connection part 6 of the remote control. <P>SOLUTION: The remote control 1 comprises a winding part 5 around which the communication line 4 connecting to an electric apparatus can be wound, and the connection part 6 to which the tip of the communication line 4 can be connected. The winding of the communication line 4 around the winding part 5 lets the remote control 1 hang from the communication line 4 by the deadweight. The elimination of the need to hold the remote control 1 allows one hand to position the tip of the communication line 4 and the connection part 6 and the other hand to handle a tool 12 such as a screwdriver.
