<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift-by-wire system which both parks a vehicle by laying it in a locked state by a parking lock mechanism even in a situation where power cannot be supplied, and prevents theft thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The system comprises a manual mechanism 40 for transmitting a manual operating force of an operation lever 49 for power loss by a vehicle occupant to a parking lock mechanism 70 and a manual valve 60 to drive them. The manual mechanism 40 includes a one-way transmission means 41 which permits transmission of the manual operating force in a direction in which the parking lock mechanism 70 is operated to a lock state, and prohibits transmission of the manual operating force in a direction in which the parking lock mechanism 70 is operated to a lock releasing state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
