PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroluminescent element capable of producing performance of uniform light, and a method for fabricating the same. SOLUTION: An image display system incorporates an electroluminescent element, and includes: light emitting units emitting lights with different luminescent intensities along light emitting paths thereof, and formed overlying a substrate; and a compensation layer disposed along the light emitting paths to adjust the different luminescent intensities of the light emitting units for outputting substantially uniform light.
