PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens array capable of making the characteristics of lens elements uniform. SOLUTION: The lens array 10 is provided with a conductive first liquid 11, an insulating second liquid 12 having a refraction index different from that of the first liquid 11, and a plurality of lens elements 13 forming lens planes 13A with interfaces between the first and the second liquids 11 and 12. The lens plane 13A of the lens element 13 reversibly changes by output control of an applying voltage. Since the plurality of adjacent lens elements 13 communicate with each other through the liquids, fluctuation of the liquid quantities of the first and the second liquids 11 and 12 between the lens elements can be eliminated and the lens characteristics can be made uniform.
