PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shake correcting device and optical equipment which can be easily manufactured, and a method for manufacturing the shake correcting device. SOLUTION: The shake correcting device has a cover part 80, a base part, and a movable lens frame arranged between the cover part 80 and the base part and moving on a plane perpendicular to an optical axis when correcting shake. Objective side steel balls 90a and 90b are pressured by rotating the cover part 80 and fixing the cover part 80 and the base part after the objective side steel balls 90a and 90b are inserted between the movable lens frame and the cover part 80 from a steel ball insertion hole 86 provided to a spring part 85 surrounded by the first slit 83 and the second slit 84 of the cover part 80.
